At Zion Home Health Services, Inc. our physical therapists provide services to patients/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. Ultimately, the Physical Therapist is responsible for examining the patient and developing a plan of care that meets the goals and functional expectations of the patient
Our physical therapists focus on the relationship between impairment and functional limitation and the patient’s ability to perform everyday activities. Increased independence in the home and community and improvement in the individual’s quality of life are the expected outcomes of our therapeutic interventions.
A client/child may benefit from physical therapy if they have:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Down Syndrome
- Club Foot
- Hip Dysplasia
- Hypotonia-low muscle tone
- Hypertonia-high muscle tone
- Coordination Disorder
- Generalized Weakness
- Loss of balance

Here at Zion Home Health Services, Inc. our ultimate goal is to help our patients with special needs reach the maximum functional potential and have independent, productive lives.
